Officers from Bolton North Neighbourhood Team attended premises on Chorley Old Road and Bentinck Road on Monday 12 October alongside Trading Standards and Bolton Council.

Greater Manchester Police said the visits followed intelligence about the suspected supply of counterfeit goods.

The force reported seizing more than 25,000 single-use vapes, more than 3,500 bottles of vape liquid and 500 bottles of suspected cannabis oil.

Officers also seized 100kg of material described by police as CBD powder, which the force valued at £60,000. The suspected cannabis oil was valued at around £25,000.

The arrested man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Inspector Wayne Warner, from Bolton Neighbourhood Team, said “Your reports are vital in supporting our operations and ensuring we take effective action against criminality in your area. You all play a key role in helping us identify offenders and keeping neighbourhoods safe.
